Boys Hope Girls Hope 2019 Breakfast raised more than $409,000!

(Phoenix, AZ.) The Boys Hope Girls Hope Success Starts with Hope Breakfast on May 10, 2019 raised more than $409,000 for BHGH programs. Chaired by Julie Hancock and Alicia Harrison, there were 660 guests present including 50 BHGH scholars.  BHGH honored their founding school partner and long time supporter, Brophy College Preparatory.  Highlights of the hour-long program included  an inspiring speech from Jason Merrill,  BHGH Alum and Brophy Grad, who shared his life story and the impact that BHGH made on his future; a BHGH Mission video of two scholars and their BHGH journey; and the “great reveal” of college choices by the BHGH graduating high school class –  always a favorite presentation for supporters.  All 8 high school seniors are first-generation college goers.  Together, they earned over $957,000 in combined grants and scholarships and are attending Grand Canyon University, Honors College at Grand Canyon University, Arizona State University, University of Arizona Honors College, Yale University, Barrett the Honors College at ASU.  The event achieved a record-breaking level of success thanks to generous individual donors, the  Presenting Sponsor, Camelot Homes, and lead sponsors Alicia and Jim Harrison/Harrison Properties, Robson Communities, The Glen Swette Charitable Trust, Catholic Education Arizona, Geddes and Company, Coe and Van Loo, Tracy and John Eddy, The R.S.
