Be a role model for our scholars.
Join the BHGH family.
We would not be able to do our work without the support of volunteers, as you are partners and co-deliverers of our services. We need our communities to share our vision and take action to empower our scholars.
Volunteering for BHGH requires an application and interview, and most positions require a background screening. Click on the Volunteer Application to learn more.
Prepare a meal to share or drop off at one of our residential homes for our scholars.
Build a relationship with your scholar and create experiences that enable the him or her to grow as an individual and successfully prepare for college and life beyond.
A variety of short-term volunteer options are available such as office assistance, meal preparation, community service projects and more.
Tutors or Study Buddy:
Scholars are assigned to a tutor with knowledge of his or her troubled subject. Tutors meet with scholars at the residential or community-based programs. Or come help a scholar with homework and studying after school.
We need you.
