As we approach the close of 2024, we want to share an important leadership update for Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona. We are pleased to announce that Meghann Gintz, a dedicated team member with close to a decade of experience with our organization, will serve as Interim Executive Director.

For nearly a decade, it has been a privilege to witness our scholars’ remarkable journeys and the organization’s growth and progress toward new heights. I am proud to have the opportunity to support our amazing scholars in this new capacity and look forward to continuing to champion their success alongside our dedicated team.”

Meghann brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to our mission. Over her nine and a half years with Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona, she has demonstrated a passion for supporting our scholars and their families. From 2015 to 2022, Meghann served as Program Director, where she oversaw scholar recruitment and program delivery, working closely with leadership to maintain high standards. She developed trusted relationships with scholars and their families, often leveraging her Spanish fluency to connect more deeply and address specific needs. Additionally, Meghann cultivated strong partnerships with community members and organizations to enhance the reach and effectiveness of our programs.

In 2022, Meghann transitioned to Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, where she led an extensive historical data analysis project that informed the organization’s strategic growth initiatives. Her efforts advanced our affiliate outcomes and also earned Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona the Performance Management Tool Excellence Award. Additionally, Meghann has worked closely with the grant writer, using data and storytelling to communicate program needs and successes effectively.

Meghann holds a BA in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and a Graduate Certificate in Program Evaluation from Arizona State University. With over 15 years of experience in program management, evaluation, and supporting at-risk youth, she is uniquely prepared to guide our organization forward.

The board is excited to work with Meghann and the team as we continue to pursue our goal of doubling the number of scholars served by 2030. Our strategic plan remains focused on scaling the Academy Program to enhance programming, improve accessibility, strengthen community engagement, and ensure financial sustainability. Together, we are committed to increasing the number of career-ready college graduates in our community.
